TestRail

Record every scan as a TestRail test run

Teams plan

Each ValiqAI test (sign-up, password reset, a feature’s main flow) becomes a test case in a "ValiqAI" section of the suite you pick, and each scan you record becomes a test run with a result per case: Passed, Failed with what it found, Retest when it couldn’t reach a verdict, Blocked when something it needed failed.

No mapping to set up: ValiqAI adds a case the first time it runs a test and finds it by title after that, so your run history builds up on its own. Runs link back to the scan for the evidence, and are closed once recorded.

Connecting TestRail in ValiqAI, then what TestRail shows after a scan, and back to the results.

How it works

  1. A scan runs its tests. Landing, sign-in, onboarding and feature tests, each with a result.
  2. Record it from Share. One click adds a TestRail run with every test’s result and what it found.
  3. Track it in TestRail. Compare runs over time, report on them, and keep your QA sign-off where it already lives.

Set up

In ValiqAI, open Integrations › TestRail in your workspace.

  1. In TestRail, make sure the API is on (Administration › Site Settings › API) and add an API key under My Settings.
  2. Paste your TestRail address, your email and the key here.
  3. Pick the project and test suite, then open a finished scan and choose Share › Publish to TestRail.

Plan

TestRail is on the Teams plan (Teams and Enterprise). A connection made before a plan change keeps working.

With AI tools

With the ValiqAI MCP server added to your AI coding tool, you can ask:

  • “Scan staging with ValiqAI; I will record the run in TestRail for the release sign-off.”
  • “Which ValiqAI tests failed in the last scan of staging?”
